At La Rue Moderne, we are aware of the importance of eco-friendly fashion, this includes handbags as well! At Simon+Krull, an all American fashion company that’s based in the fabulous Los Angeles, green fashion is what it’s all about.
Simon+Krull is a label that produces good-looking, qualitative but most of all, eco-friendly handbags. Kendra Krull built the label in 2012 with high respect for humanity and our environment. Her products are made with love and a lot of patience. The dying process of the handbags are completely natural, it’s a vegetable leather tanning process which takes about 40 days and it’s completely chemical-free. The elements that are needed for this leather tanning process are derived from sustainable Mimosa trees.
Ultra Suede, a Simon+Kroll trademark, provides the best of suede fabrics but no animal products are involved. This trademark is ISO 9001-certified and ISO 14001-certified, which means its both qualitative and safe for the environment.
It’s globally known that snake and crocodile skin are often used to manufacture leather bags. Simon+Krull is in no way associated with such processes, instead the brand uses fish leather which is an eco-friendly alternative. To top it all off, all bags are 100% organic cotton dust.
