Ever wish you had enough new outfits to wear every day? Or that you had a personal shopper? How about a constant flow of new clothes and accessories. Well, a new startup Le Tote offers just that. The brand curates clothes from Anthropology, Nasty Girl, Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor, Piperlime and others. So you shop on their select, ever-changing inventory. Then, you can choose which outfits to have shipped to your house- or let them choose for you. At a monthly fee of $59, you can exercise your online shopping habit to its full potential.
It’s seriously a dream come true. You don’t have to pay for two-day shipping, wash your clothes before return, or sign a contract. You can order as many “totes” in one month as you want, which can value around $1,000. When you sign-up, you can answer questions about your size and style. When Le Tote shares your next tote suggestions, you have a number of customizations you can make. Each tote contains three clothing pieces (dresses, sweaters, skirts, tops, etc.) and two accessories (handbags, necklaces, scarves, etc). So if you think you can find items you love, and won’t mind parting with, it can be a cost-effective way to expand your look. It’s like a library, but for clothes. And if you love an item, you can keep it- often for a discounted price from 30-50 percent! The prices next to each item show the retail price and Le Tote price. However, be wary that although discounted (remember, it’s used) this might add up. To see what they have to offer without signing up, preview some looks on the Le Tote Instagram.
We imagine this would be great for people working in a fashion environment. There can be a lot of pressure to own tons of clothes and keep up with the latest styles. Do you think you will sign up? Look out for our next article that will review Le Tote!
