Everything is getting smarter. From our watches to our phones, technology is an integral part of almost everything we do in a given day. The next great trend in technology is smart clothing. While making clothing “smart” may seem like an odd concept, some of these smart clothing products take the “smart” trend to the next level with their combination of fashion and technology.
The Polo Tech Shirt
One of the legends of fashion, Ralph Lauren, has joined the smart clothing trend. The Polo Tech Shirt, which sits at a pretty $295, can read your heart rate, breathing depth, and calories. Did we mention it can sync to your iPhone or Apple Watch? The shirt is woven with silver fibers, which are common in workout clothes as they help prevent bacteria build up and lingering odors. Ralph Lauren also designed an app to complement the Polo Tech Shirt – the PoloTech App, which can show users workouts to try and store your Polo Tech Shirt data.
MYZONE Sports Bra
Okay ladies, how annoying is it having to buy so much workout equipment (sports bras, spandex, etc.) on top of fitness apps to track your workouts?! This is definitely a smart clothing item you’ll want to check out!
