Pop up shops in New York City gained significant popularity in 2014 yet quickly lost steam as they became far too common. Alice Wang’s Uniforme–June 4th to June 29th
Alice Wang believes in the brilliance of basics. Last year, she started the collection Uniforme, which includes high-quality women’s button-downs, linen tees, and tank tops. The tees and tanks start at $115, so be aware that these durable, versatile tops come with a price. Wang’s first pop up shop is in Williamsburg at 439 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211.
Erin Dana “Choker Bar”–Every Thursday this summer at the Dream Hotel
This summer, Erin Dana will be setting up shop at the Dream Hotel. Each Thursday, she will bring an assortment of her chokers to sell while you lounge by the pool at Dream Beach, 355 West 16th Street, New York 10011. The chokers range in price from $45 to $95. Important to note, also, is that the cost to enter Dream Beach is $60, but then you get to lounge at the pool all day!
Jason Markk Sneaker Cleaning–June 18th to June 26th
Jason Markk, the founder of the world’s first drop-off shoe care service, will be popping up at the Footaction in Union Square from June 18th to June 26th. Markk is a West Coaster, so this is a big deal–bring your sneakers in for a cleaning like never before. Services start at $10.

On Sunday, vintage store Dusty Rose hosted Flair Affair, which was dubbed a patch, pin, and small accessory pop-up with 20 brands represented.
Everlane’s Shoe Park–May 13th to May 22nd
Everlane’s interactive pop up allowed shoppers to take potential new shoes on a test drive. The sizes ran from 5 to 11 with shoes ranging from boots to sandals and colors from navy to tan.
