Trunk Club is a personalized clothing service for men, offering designer options to the customers without the inconvenience of going into stores or even searching for items online. Guys can share details about their style, fit and other preferences and then Trunk Club sends them a selection of handpicked clothing to match their taste. Customers are able to then pick their favorites and return what they do not want without any costs. All shipping is free and there isn’t any cost for the service.
How it works:
You have three options to choose from: Clueless, Confident, and Aficionado
Once you have selected your style, you are then shown several different looks. Some are more casual than others. You click on your favorite looks, then you’re shown a range of different retailers. These includes stores such as H&M, Brooks Brothers to Saks Fifth Avenue. Trunk Club is trying to get a good idea with what you’re going to want to be wearing.
You’ll need to include some of your basic information including measurements, height etc. Then you’ll be presented with your stylist. You will be in contact with your stylist through email and phone where you can discuss the kind of things that you would like to receive in your trunk. You will be able to determine whether you need more shoes or belts, but you don’t need anymore work shirts. It’s very easy to get what you’re after.
When you receive your trunk you have 10 days to decide what you would like to keep and what you would like to return. The return sticker is included in the package, it’s incredibly easy.
Trunk Club takes a lot of the pain out of the shopping experience. There is a great selection of clothing and the customer service is very personal and welcoming. However, you will be paying full retail prices for the items so this will not come cheap. You can let your stylist know what your budget is and they will keep it in that range.
